DeLucias - Family owned and operated since 1917
In 1917 Costantino DeLucia, an Italian immigrant, opened a bakery on First Avenue in Raritan. The business (now serving pizza) is still open today in the same building.
In the early years the bread was delivered by horse and buggy to Raritan and other towns as far away as Martinsville.
In the 1930s Pizza was added to the menu. By the early 1950s pizzas popularity in this country grew so large that DeLucias converted to an all pizza menu.
They continue to this day making pizzas.
A quick calculation estimates that they have made over three million pizzas throughout the years
