On Monday July 27th, 2010 Mark Ciesla was Sworn in as Raritan's New Police Chief A veteran of the Raritan Police since 1985, he had been promoted to Lieutenant in 2005. Also promoted to Lieutenant were Robert Ludwig and Ken McCormick.
Robert Ludwig became a Raritan Police Officer in 1980 He was made a sergeant in 2004	Ken McCormick became a Raritan Police Officer in 1987 He was made a sergeant in 1999
Afterwards a celebration was held that included a who's who of Raritan policemen and politicians from the past and the present
