Dedication of The Rose Pacifico Children's Room at the Raritan Library
Rose C. Pacifico was born in Raritan, NJ on July 15th 1929 to her parents Gennaro and Filomena Forte Pacifico.
Rose was a graduate of Trenton State College and also earned her Masters Degree in Teaching.
She taught for over 40 years at Whitehouse School, JFK School in Raritan, and Bradley Gardens School.

Rose was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church in Raritan, member and past President of the Rosary Altar Society,
a Eucharistic Minister and Lector, Hospital Visitor, Pro-Life Representative of St. Ann’s in the Diocese,
and a member of the Raritan Library Board.

She was the recipient of the Eleanor Roosevelt Award by the Raritan Democratic Club.
Rose received the N. J. State Teacher Recognition Award, and was an active member in the local Democratic Club.

She was a generous sister, aunt, great-aunt, and sister-in-law who enjoyed the opera, followed the N.Y. Yankees,
read avidly, and always loved spending time with her family and friends.
Her conversations reflected interests in public matters including politics, history, and current affairs.
